Our Permanent Information Offices (OIP) have become a key channel for the communities in our area of influence to raise complaints or make inquiries. We have offices of this type in Abancay, Challhuahuacho, Tambobamba and Mara (Apurímac region), and in Espinar, Ccapacmarca and Velille (Cusco region).
56% of the grievances referred to the lack of payments from Las Bambas contractors to local suppliers, who submitted their complaint to Las Bambas. Through the Contracts department, we take care of following up on these complaints, so that the contractors meet their payment commitments.
IMPORTANT:
We did not register any claim related to the discrimination or violation of the human rights of the indigenous population in the reported period.
